Leaving tomorrow

Hi Everyone

I’ve never bothered doing the travel blog thing before, mainly coz I’ve always been to places with good internet access. Things will be a bit different this time though. From what I’ve been told I’ll be able to use the internet at least a couple of times a week but it will be slow and expensive in some places. Trying to email everyone individually is just not gonna happen for the next few months so I’m hoping this will be an easy way to let people know where I am and what I’m doing. (It also means I can’t bore you all with Africa stories when I get home coz you will have read them already). I'll still read my emails and messages on Facebook, I just might not be able to reply straight away.

So if you want to see what I'm up to just click on the ‘subscribe’ button there on the right and you’ll get an email everytime I update the blog. For anyone on Facebook it should show up there too but don’t count on it coz I haven’t worked out how to do that yet (if you’re reading this on Facebook then I have).
The plan for those who don’t already know it is to travel on a big yellow truck from Nairobi to Cape Town. That will take about 10 weeks. Then I’ll be on my own backpacking from Cape Town to Jeffreys Bay where I’ll stay for a few weeks before coming home for Christmas.

Right now I’ve got 24 hours to finish getting organised then its off to Nairobi. See you there!
